The new save option is very useful, but how about you do it that even AFTER you finish the wave of the beacon, you start from the beacon AFTER you've beaten it.

Example: Beacon 1, you kill all enemies etc. You then go to the pits, jump, jump, then you reach the underground creature. You die here. You would restart at Beacon 1, but you would have to kill all Beacon 1's enemies AGAIN. Perhaps make it after you've defeated them, you would respawn at the closest completed beacon, without needing to fight that beacon's enemies again?

9/10, amazingly good, but the save option seems to be a bit...vague.
